DIGITAL ARTIST & PHOTOGRAPHER & VISUAL STORYTELLER
Taha Bostancı (b. 1 September 1995, Türkiye) is a Turkish digital artist, photographer, and visual storyteller. His work focuses on three-dimensional environment design, immersive digital art, level design, creative coding, interactive projection mapping, deep-space astrophotography, and visual storytelling.
Bostancı completed his undergraduate degree at Atatürk University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Arts. Continuing his academic work at the same university's Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Graphic Arts, the artist continues his master's research there.
In his professional output, the artist produces comprehensive environment concepts (environment art) that bring together graphic arts, illustration, digital art, hard surface modelling, visual effects (VFX), and digital compositing, along with level designs for independent game projects. At the intersection of art and technology, he researches how machine-learning-based voice models, real-time image processing, and interactive projection mapping systems can be simplified through the discipline of graphic design and integrated into the visual arts. In astrophotography, which forms another branch of his artistic practice, he records deep-space objects through technical image-processing workflows. The artist is a professional member of The D-Word, an international network of independent documentary filmmakers.
Having served as Creative Director at Upcreate.art and VulcanX throughout his career, Bostancı is also an Associate Founder at the Emanet agency. Building visual worlds for artists known on a global scale in the music and performing arts industry, he has developed animation, digital art, 3D game scenes, and concept designs for more than 40 projects — notably for the world-renowned music producer Alan Walker. These works have reached more than 50 million views and millions of streams on international platforms. The artist has also appeared as a speaker at more than 30 national and international events in the fields of technology, design, and digital art.
Bostancı's works have met wide audiences on the international contemporary and digital art scenes, particularly in New York and Miami:
Miami Art Week & Art Basel Miami (2022): Exhibited at Lume Studios (24 June), Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel, VIP exhibits at the Art Basel fairgrounds, and Moxy Miami South Beach (curated by Eva Vacic and filmmaker Jason Ludman; in partnership with Portion.io, DotConnector, and Playground).
NFT.NYC (2023, 2024, 2025): Selected three years in a row for NFT.NYC, one of the world's leading digital art and Web3 events; his works were exhibited across Javits Center (North Javits) and Marriott Marquis (Artist Showcase and Rooftop Artists Village). His works were also featured in the curated selection "The Monument" by Superchief Gallery.
Times Square Billboards (New York): His digital works were broadcast 15 times on iconic electronic billboards across Times Square during global showcase series and VIP events.

SUPERCHIEF / THE MONUMENTSix works, one claim: a digital object can carry the weight, the wear and the presence of carved stone. Each piece begins in the physical world — a temple relief, a scanned ornament, a body — and is completed as a constructed, lit, deliberate form.
Twin dragons guarding Chinese temples — balance, cycle, power. The figures were 3D-scanned on site, redrawn and rebuilt as high-detail models, then brought together into a single digital relief. A collaboration with PBRMax.
One of my early works, and still the piece in which I feel freest: if a person does not know themselves, the universe shapes them — if they do, they shape the universe. Conceived as a single cosmic form in which light does the sculpting.

A study of the human perception of beauty: constructing the noblest, most sublime female figure possible. Viewers reported feeling both moved and crushed under her gaze. Selected by Superchief Gallery for the NFT.NYC 2025 "The Monument" selection and shown on the Times Square billboards.

A Chinese relief made for good fortune; 3D-scanned and rebuilt through modelling, concept work and digital painting. It became one of the most engaged-with pieces in the collection. A collaboration with PBRMax.

Before entering the gate of truth, the whole self must be burned away — that is the key. Once that gate is crossed, only divine love remains; the self is gone. The vigil does not end until you enter that gate with your whole body. A digital sculpture on the annihilation of the self.

Concept design for an unmade Pirates of the Caribbean film. Never released — which leaves it free to fill whatever space it wants.
The project we carried out with Alan Walker is a multi-layered production process I was involved in from beginning to end — from sculpture sketches to illustrations, from models to stage design.
We did not limit ourselves to sculptures; we prepared stage sketches and illustrations and turned them into detailed 3D environment designs. At every stage of the project we aimed to bring creative vision together with technical skill, blending Alan Walker's music and the visual arts into one coherent whole.
The project left its mark not only in the digital world but in the physical one: the stages and sculptures I prepared came to life in real life as well. I am glad to work with Alan Walker; I continue to take part in his projects every year.

Space and Documentary Photography — I produce work across many fields. Space and documentary photography is, for me, a point of escape at the moment I grow tired of producing in digital fields or feel I have fallen into monotony. There is one thing I will never hesitate to state plainly: I feel that I belong to the moments in which I find myself doing astrophotography and documentary photography.
